This year we donated 170 electric grinder sets to organizations that cook alongside the people we built this product for. Here is where they went, and why.
Why we did this
It Started in One Kitchen
My late mother-in-law lived with arthritis for much of her life. Simple kitchen tasks could be painful, but she still put fabulous family meals on the table every night. That memory is a big part of why I built this product: a grinder you can work with one hand, no twisting, no struggle.
Kinder Grinder is the same idea carried further. We place those grinders with organizations already helping people cook, gather, and feel at home in their kitchens, so the people who would feel the difference most get to use them every day.

How we chose
Kitchens Already Doing the Work
We looked for organizations already in the kitchen with older adults, with families rebuilding after a crisis, and with young people setting up a first home of their own.
Every partner here runs hands-on cooking classes, delivers meals, or furnishes real homes: the places where an easy-to-use grinder actually gets picked up and used, meal after meal.
What It Added Up To
Not a campaign number. Older adults seasoning their own food again, and families opening a box on their first night in a new home.

What is the Kinder Grinder project?
Kinder Grinder is Vivosparks' community donation program. We donate electric grinder sets to nonprofit organizations that support older adults, people with limited hand strength, and families setting up kitchens of their own. The program grew from the same accessibility mission behind our one-hand grinders.

Can my nonprofit request a Kinder Grinder donation?
Yes. If your organization serves older adults, people with limited hand mobility, food programs, or families setting up kitchens, you can contact Vivosparks at support@vivosparks.com. We cannot promise every request will be a fit, but we are glad to review it.
Are the grinders donated free of charge?
Yes. Kinder Grinder donations are provided at no cost to the nonprofit organization or the people they serve.
